  1. Microbiology Urine Culture and Sensitivity (U/C&S) Testing:

    • Microbiology Urine Culture and Sensitivity (U/C&S) testing is a diagnostic procedure used to identify and determine the antibiotic susceptibility of microorganisms present in urine samples.
    • U/C&S testing involves inoculating a urine sample onto culture media to promote the growth of microorganisms present in the urine.
  2. Stool Ova and Parasite (O&P) Examination:

    • Stool O&P examination involves analyzing stool samples under a microscope to identify and characterize parasites, their eggs, and other parasitic structures that may be present.
    • Assessing the severity of parasitic infections and monitoring treatment efficacy.
  3. Fluid Osmolality Testing:Fluid Osmolality testing is a diagnostic procedure used to measure the concentration of osmotically active particles in various body fluids.
    • Evaluating kidney function and diagnosing renal disorders such as diabetes insipidus and syndrome of inappropriate antidiuretic hormone secretion (SIADH).

  6. AFB Stain (Acid-fast Bacilli Stain):The Acid-fast Bacilli (AFB) stain is a diagnostic laboratory technique used to detect the presence of acid-fast bacteria in clinical samples.
